Jim and Jan left for the airport Friday morning...but not before one last trip to Starbucks and one last photo!
Saturday evening, we did our usual "Mass downtown and then out to dinner" routine. There is a small strip mall with several restaurants and a parking lot (a definite plus in Bangkok) located just a short distance up the street from our church. The fondue restaurant where we have gone a couple of times recently went out of business so we tried a "new to us" restaurant called "Witch's". There was outdoor seating on the first level but the tables were too close to the parking lot so we chose to sit outside on the 2nd floor balcony. It was a cooler evening and there was an occasional breeze - a perfect night!
Guinness on tap...always the first sign of a good restaurant!
The food was very good and we would definitely go back there again. Caitlynne had spaghetti bolognese, Christopher and Kevin each had a sauteed chicken breast stuffed with feta, pine nuts and pesto and I had chicken tikka masala.
This is a short post because I am off to a Superbowl-watching breakfast as soon as I get the kids off to school.
Enjoy the game and have a great Sunday evening!
